TOP 10 ARMY IN THE WORLD

MOST POWER FULL ARMY

When war is on your mind it's hard to take time to think about the next battle and then worry about what comes after that... It really does not matter to them who wins. The most important thing is how much damage can they inflict. But Pakistan's army is no stranger to war. Here are some of their famous moments!

THE MILITARY DOG OF BULLSHOT (1962)

It's a dog of mine! This beautiful bird has been known to be fearless and fierce, and my love for him has never been more evident than in this epic film starring Cliff Curtis as Brigadier Richard Meesham-Mecham. The main cause of all the trouble was the 'dog' of Major General Nial Shaw (Ebert). He had brought these dogs into a small military camp near Kabul and had taken one by mistake... but that one had gotten out of control and led the others astray, so his superiors ordered him removed! While he looked back at the two dogs which were still standing outside his tent, in the distance there stood a huge crowd of civilians watching from behind the walls of the tiny compound, the sun shining down upon them and onto him. he shouted up at me!

The moment I heard about this film, I knew that we would get another opportunity to see the real hero; Cliff Curtis' Brigadier Richard Meesham-Mecham.

THE LADIES HILL OF ANGRY MAN (1958)

There are three daughters of my heart. A great nation is born out of love. So if anyone asks you where the country is, tell him or her that it is here… I was very happy when people told me that my daughters will always be proud to receive visitors from Afghanistan. So, I went home and did everything I could. I asked the whole family to come and stay with me and showed them around the garden. We didn't leave until we had got there... and what a lovely place it was! My children were in heaven by the way they looked around, but they did have to wait until our little Afghan ladies came along with us, and all the girls said "Dada, Dada". When the girls explained to my husband his good deeds to my daughters I felt like crying, and suddenly I couldn't stop laughing the rest of the day and it was only when my husband told me the following day that I really understood. They called her Lady Anne Hill after her grandmother.

THE TAKES AND TROUBLES TO JALALABAD ON WEDNESDAY (1974)

My brother died a long time ago and I still remember everything. Back then I was living across the world in South Africa and even though I'm now living outside America, I never forget the old days, the good days. My brothers used to take us along every year with my grandfather and father, and we used to live in the hills of Jalalabad. One time my mother had a fever and I had to go to Jalalabad to check on it because I'm really scared of bad things happening. When I walked through the city, it wasn't just the crowds like in years past, there was an endless line of vehicles lined up and trucks all of whom wanted to take me back to my family. There would be crowds that wanted to take me and never have me. On the streets, you saw men offering for me and saying "Come With Us". To my surprise, when we got to my parents' house they had already packed their stuff and prepared to go to Iraq and Kabul. At first, I thought it was a dream and then when my mother told me that my dad had left her with my uncle, all they told me was that they were gonna take us back home.

THE SWEET REASON OF ITS LIFE (1974)

When I met my wife in Karachi, she told me that she had seen a poster with a picture and a slogan and she must know exactly what it meant. She also told me it was a big deal, but I had no idea why. Then, while sitting next to her I went through a list of her friends... I looked through all of them and thought how wonderful it is to have loved ones in all different places... One is going there and I'm going to meet her and we're gonna live happily ever after... "I told myself all those times you don't really exist." So, I kissed her cheek and gave each one of her friends a kiss for me, and thanked God. I took a look around and said "Now I want to invite you too. You'll definitely love my company, and if I can make the trip to Iraq."

THE MADHOUSE ROOF (1978)

All I could do was cry. All I could think of was my beloved dead son. And in the end, the day passed in peace. For the last few months, we had lived together and were enjoying a pleasant and cozy life. That evening, something unexpected happened! In the middle of the night, a man stood over his head and shouted... "Death to Death. Don't let me die!" Everyone was silent, except the man of course had had enough and rushed out from under the table and ran around the balcony to the open window of the garden where my daughter was sleeping. As soon as my daughter woke she started shouting "Death to death" as well as "Don't let me die". My child was running around and all the doors and windows of the house were locked and everybody was in a panic. He was screaming out that nobody is coming for him, he had got a knife under his pillow, he was stabbing himself, so what happens to him now? No one could come in but my mother, I was the only person to hear what the other people were screaming about, "Death to Death." My child is gone.

THE BRADIEMEN (1979)

After my husband went to war, he moved away and left me at home with my daughter. Her name was Kiki, she was my darling cat, and she used to lie in my lap all day long. I went to work in Islamabad to help with my job and came home and put my daughter in bed... At once she ran into the room and laid a white blanket behind the door where she lay to sleep. At this point, I decided that if she sleeps in that kind of way then people must not be able to keep looking at her, so I began to scream. Nobody was listening, people were just staring at the blankets, and my daughter tried to cover herself and lay on them, but she didn't care and lay there peacefully wrapped in a blanket. Then everyone heard a commotion inside the house and my mother burst out with tears and wept, nobody was ready for anything out of order. I cried and told her I wanted her home and when she came back from her usual routine and came into me all tears and hugs went away and we kissed, and so began the beginning of our new life.

THE GREATEST CRASH IN THIS WORLD HAS BEEN MISSING HIMSELF ON SUNNY DAYS FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS (2010)

What a disaster! Things are getting out of hand, so bad my car has actually broken down twice, and the weather outside is becoming worse. Once again I came home after a week to visit my wife and she had a fever, so I said I might just go and fetch her. She was lying on the sofa and asked me to sit beside her and give her a drink. What a good girl! We talked about our lives and our dreams and my mother wanted nothing more than to have me back home to her. My heart melted, and I could feel everyone around me start to cry. I looked around and when I spoke to my child, her eyes filled with sadness, I told her it was okay and she couldn't be sad because when my husband goes off to war, he comes back alive and his soul goes into another world for a short period of his body. Yes, my child was right. Everything is fine because I am not going to die and my soul does not go back to my mother or her to say goodbye, even in death! It makes no difference to her whatsoever. Nothing matters anymore.
